About Bella

Bella is a recent graduate who is currently embarking upon one very interesting journey- the journey down the aisle!

A confessed cynic and yet at times, hopeless romantic, a lot of Bella's blog has to do with coming to terms with what it means to be a bride in this day and age, and what it also means to be a woman at the same time. She explores weddings, traditions, society, and gender roles for women and men, as well as throwing in as much sarcastic humor as she can in a short period of time.

In addition to her more serious posts, Bella is also a long time artist and crafts person, and will be posting some of her digital and traditional artwork, as well as the DIY projects she does in her home life and for her upcoming wedding. She will also be updating her blog with inspirational quotes and pictures, both wedding and non wedding related.

As a person, she grew up on the West Coast of Canada, learning to love nature, and being grateful for having a hometown with such an awesome view. She also cares about the environment, health and wellness, and is also a bit of a foodie. She grew up in an Indian household, but has very liberal and Canadian viewpoints on life. Not only did she fall in love with her birthplace right away, she has also chosen to mix and match her cultures by falling in love with someone very distinctly Canadian, "S".

Her stance on life is to live and love fully every day. She is an active member of her community, and is currently looking to volunteer by working with women and families. She cares a great deal about women's issues, gender issues, as well as equality for all across the board.

I hope you all enjoy my blog, and I cant wait to share all my trials, challenges, crafty ideas, and experiences with you! Please feel free to comment on anything and everything- I believe in frank discussions and I love having a chat every once in a while with my readers!

Thanks for dropping by!
